„Hey there weekend! Nice to see you! Since I moved to Cologne a little over 3 years ago, Noa has been one of my favourite restaurants. In a relaxed atmosphere one can enjoy delicious food for a fair price. Not hungry? It’s also nice to just sit on the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine.”

„Another plus factor: very nice service (not a given in Germany unfortunately)."

McFit

„My favourite place to work out is McFit (former High5) in the southern part of Cologne. I’m also a member in another gym (just because I like the variety), but with this one I just really value the atmosphere. Besides that, they have a really good variety of free weights and also machines (especially the HammerStrength ones) even though the gym itself is quite small.”

Rheinufer

„My favourite place to relax and calm down is the along the river Rhine. If one needs to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life this is a great place to clear the head. In general, I very much enjoy walking, especially close to water. They have something extra soothing in my opinion. But don’t forget to take a break and enjoy the stunning view!”

„The Rhine boulevard is my favourite place to hang out. Especially on warm summer evenings there is no better place to sit on the steps and relax, hang out with friends and drink something.”

„Strolling along the Rhine and over the famous Hohenzollern Bridge… inspiring and relaxing at the same time.”

„The Rhine promenade is my spot if I need time for myself to think. Whether in summer or winter, this is my idyllic place. Wearing the right outfit, sitting there is comfortable even when temperatures are dropping.”

Ehrenfeld

Ehrenfeld is maybe the trendiest district of Cologne with many cool bars and cafes.”

Stiefel

„In the heart of Cologne and in the center of Zülpicher Straße is the Stiefel. There are no spectacular drinks or anything like that, but if you just want to play table football and bring the week to an end, this is the spot! Also, always good for a nightcap. Here, dads – who still know the iconic store from their student days – encounter sons and daughters of the current student generation. Even Anthony Hopkins has already shot here!”

Bridge-to-Bridge

„Every Sunday we run across the city. From bridge to bridge with a beautiful view of the cathedral. In any weather! ‘Et hät noch immer gut jejange, bald wird wieder gekämpft’ (Cologne dialect for ‚It has always gone well, soon we will fight again‘)!”

Kwartier Latäng

„I was asked where in Cologne I like to hang out: Welcome to Kwartier Latäng. Preferably in front of the kiosk with a delicious Kölsch (beer brewed in Cologne) or on top of a wall. Hip bars are not my cup of tea, wandering through the traditional Veedel is more like it.”

Brüsseler Platz

„In Cologne, almost everything is about being outdoors – no matter if I’m meeting friends for dinner or if I’m going out to a club on the weekend: nearly everything starts here at Brüsseler Platz. Every weekend, this square in front of the St. Michaeals Church fills up with a wild mix of different people who already know each other or may even just have met. Especially in summer and when the weather is nice, it is sometimes difficult to find a free spot. “

"The Brüsseler Platz is simply an important part of Cologne and should not be missed during an evening visit in this crazy city."

Rheinauhafen

„To chill and really enjoy the day in Cologne means to me that my dog Nani is with me. The Rheinauhafen is – with its architecture and lots of cool cafes and restaurants – exactly the right place to spend a nice day and to get to know the stylish side of Cologne.”

"Most photo shoots in Cologne take place here"

„To me, sport means to be active while being out and about. On my travels you can often find me on the beach or on some special hike. In Cologne, I like to go for a run – in my opinion the Mediapark is a great place for it (especially in the evening). “

"The lights of the skyscrapers shine so beautifully and it’s easy to just tune out."

Belgisches Viertel

„My absolute favorite neighborhood – and also my home – is the Belgisches Viertel. Between Friesenplatz and Aachener Straße I get inspired by fashion, I go shopping, I drink coffee and I face a variety of culinary possibilities every day. All this means that I hardly leave my neighborhood and rarely find my way to a subway or suburban train. To my almost monotonous denim look I like to wear a few bright red eye-catching Saucony Trainers.”

Herr Pimock

„In my immediate neighborhood you can find the Herr Pimock. Technically you can spend the whole day here. After a very good breakfast, there is a delicious lunch, then coffee and cake and in the evening great cocktails. Above all, it serves as an excellent starting point for a long night. The nice thing here is, no matter how you go out – casual, chic, or a mix of both – you always feel comfortable without being looked at. And after all, the Saucony trainers are more than suitable with each of these styles!”

Grüngürtel

„Turn the music on and your head off. This works even better for me doing an outdoor work out than going to the gym. I prefer doing it in the Grüngürtel, which is almost semicircular around the city of Cologne. In addition to basketball courts, the Herkulesberg, a trim course, urban tennis courts and so much more are constantly offering new challenges. My new running shoe – the Saucony Freedom ISO – carries me as if I’m on clouds.”

„From a sporting point of view, it never gets boring here."
